Good Morning!
We're thrilled to welcome everyone back for the start of the 26-27 school year.
We will have staff outside on the playground to greet everyone and enter the building at 8am. Students can still eat breakfast and will then be sent outside to join their classroom lines. Parents/Guardians, when we go inside, we'll have you remain on the playground. Thank you for understanding and being flexible with us as we get students back into our daily school routines.
Our RISE staff will be outside on the East side to welcome students into school riding the bus and being dropped off at 7:40am.
Our school day coverage begins at 7:40am.
Students will begin being dismissed at 2:40pm. Parent/guardian and daycare pick-up will take place at the playground entrance. We ask that you pull up to the curb and park or park in the stall and come out to pick-up your child(ren).
See you all very soon!
We are looking forward to seeing many of you tomorrow night at open house.
When you arrive, please come in through Door A, the main entrance. You can proceed through the gym and then head up to your child's classroom. We will have ample information provided at tables in the gymnasium for you to stop at.
It's an exciting time and we're eager to see you all again!

Tomorrow morning and afternoon we have an extra opportunity for you to come in and meet the teachers and see the school.
8:00am-10:00am you can come in or come from 4:00-6:00pm. If those don't work, you can still join us on the 25th for our whole school open house from 4:00-6:00pm.

In just one week we will have our Field Day for Marcella LeBeau Elementary on May 19.
We will have our Field Day from 12:30-2:30pm at the George McGovern Middle School track and field. Mr. Zangara is setting up stations for the students to participate in. PTO is providing popsicles as one of the stations. There will be 12 stations in all that the students will move through.
Parents and guardians, you are more than welcome to come out and join us for this fun afternoon. You will still need to check-in and receive a visitors badge from the office. If you haven't done this before, please make sure you have your ID.

Join us tonight, April 17th, from 6:00-7:30 at Marcella LeBeau School for MLB’s Family Fun Night. All family members are invited. We will have Bingo (with really cool prizes), craft making, soccer, Girl Scouts, flag football and cotton candy! All of these family-friendly options are free! There will also be a taco food truck for purchase. Doors open at 6! Enter through door A. We hope to see you all tonight!

Every child who will attend school in the Sioux Falls School District for the 2026-2027 school year must complete an annual update. This is required every year to ensure that student information, such as data privacy, emergency, and health information, is correct and up to date.

We are collecting items for some STEM Earth Day projects!
Things we can take... Toilet paper/paper towel rolls, small cardboard boxes/shoe boxes, soda bottles, gallon milk/water jugs. Please rinse out items before donating. You may turn your donation into the office or send it with your child and their teacher will put it in a couple of the designated areas in our school.
